Sungmin's POV:

Like any other love story, I experienced mine in an early age. I loved someone who didn't love me back.
Highschool is a place where everyone can be what they are. You meet your friends, your first crush and even your first love.
It happened to me as it happened to you. But my story might be a little bit complicated.


My name is Lee Sungmin. I'm 15 and currently enrolled in SM Academy.
I used to live in Ilsan until my parents decided to move in Seoul when my harabeoji asked my dad to take over his company in Seoul.
I have a sister, her name is Lee Ryeowook. She's two years younger than I am.
My parents are Lee Donghae and Lee Hyukjae.
Hyukjae eomma told us that Donghae appa met her when they were in highschool.
Appa chased eomma for three years until she agreed to marry him. Eomma said that her parents set an arranged marriage to
one of their closest friends but she eloped with appa.
A month after their marriage, eomma was already carrying me. Harabeoji called appa one night and asked him to come home.
My grandparents didn't know that appa was already married to eomma but then appa brought us to Ilsan.

"Abeoji! Eomeoni! I'm home!" Donghae called as the butler took in their luggages and entered the mansion.
"Hae-ah, are you sure about this? I'm a bit scared." Hyukjae whispered to her husband.
"Hyukkie, don't worry okay? Let me handle this." Donghae said as he kissed her forehead.

"Hae-ah! Omo! Son! I missed you!" Donghae's mom said as she hugged her son.
"Eomma, I've got something to tell you." Donghae said as soon as they broke the hug.
"Uhmm.. Okay. Come on, let's go to your appa's office." She smiled and noticed the girl behind her son.
"Oh. Hi. You must me Hyukjae." She said smiling to Hyukjae.
"Yes eomeoni." She said as she smiled and bowed to the elder.
Donghae's mom let go of her son's hand and went beside Hyukjae.

As they entered the office, Donghae bowed to his dad, ran to him and hugged him.
"Appa, I missed you so much."
"I missed you too son. Sit down. Oh. Who is this beautiful lady?"
"Jagiya, this is Hyukjae. She's-.." Donghae's mom was cut when Donghae made a coughing sound. "Ehem."
"Annyeonghaseyo Abeoji. I'm Lee Hyukjae."
"Lee Hyukjae? Jeongmalyo? Aren't you the daughter of Lee Youngwoon and Leeteuk?"
"Eh? Abeoji, you knew my parents?"

"Donghae-ah. Gwaenchanha. You married your fiance anyway."

"Yes son. You were arranged to marry Lee Hyukjae since you were five. This is really funny. And I am also happy. I guess there's no problem at all. I will call Youngwoon-ah and tell him the good news. Have you eaten? Jagiya. Please accompany them downstairs.
Donghae and Hyukjae were speechless.

"Hae-ah. I love you so much. I'm very happy that you were my fiance after all. I escaped my engagement at the day of our marriage. Who would think that it was you after all.

Donghae kissed her as they cuddled and fell asleep.

"Min, dear? Wake up. You're gonna be late for school."

I was dreaming. Wait? Who was that boy? I can't remember his name. It's the first time I saw that face though. Wierd.
Well anyway! It's the first day of school!Yay! I'd better be ready now.

It took 5 minutes for us to get to SM Academy. Max oppa told me he'll be fetching us at 4 since our class ends at 4pm.
"Eonni. Can you accompany me to class before going to yours?" Wookie asked as we got off the car.

It's a very nice school. A bit more bigger than our school in Ilsan. As we went to Wookie's room, I noticed a bunch of highschool students looking at us. They look a bit older than me so I didn't mind them.

I went to the nearest bulletin board to look for directions. My class room is on the next building so I walked fast.
I entered the classroom and took the third seat from the front. It was still a bit early so I decided to roam my eyes around the classroom.
I noticed a boy at the far end of the room as he was slumped against his table. The bell rang, signaling the start of classes.

"Hello everybody! Welcome to SM Academy!" A tall man said as he entered the room.
"Hello. I'm your homeroom teacher. My name is Choi Siwon. Let me see. Hmm.." He muttered while going over sheets of paper.
"Ah! Lee Sungmin?" He asked.
I raised my hand and he asked me to come upfront.
"Okay miss Lee. Stand here. Class, I know the rest of the students in this class are old students from SMA Elementary. This is Lee Sungmin.
She's from Ilsan and her parents are, you know (from the Lee Corporation)." (I looked at him as he whispered the last words. "Okay so I was saying, miss Lee is a new student here in SM Academy and I hope you treat her well. Understand class?"
"YES Sonsaengnim!" the class said in chorus.
"Okay miss Lee plese introduce yourself."
"Annyeonghaseyo! I'm Lee Sungmin. I'm a new student from Ilsan. Please take care of me. I hope to be friends with everybody."
Others smiled at me, and the other doesn't seem to care. It was okay. First day it is.
What annoyed me was the guy I saw earlier. He caught my attention as I saw him smirk.
'What the hell?' I screamed in my mind. Oh now I know. He's the guy form my dream. Slash that. NIGHTMARE.
My dream's probably telling me that I should avoid him. Right!

Kyuhyun sat on my couch, I kept on trying to digest it all in, to realize and try to snap back to reality.He's my boyfriend now.

Sungmin carefully read what Sunny said over and over again, checking if his eyes had problem.



MinnieAegi: That's impossible Sunny. You're just trying to cheer me up right?


Sunny-OH!: Oh, no Min. In fact he said he'll be rushing to your apartment a while ago. He said he can't take it anymore. You kept on ignoring Kyu for weeks. Aren't you being mean to him?


MinnieAegi: Haha! Nice joke Sunny.


Sunny-OH!: I'm not kidding Min, if you don't want to believe me, then just see for yourself.


MinnieAegi: What do you mean see for yourself?



Sungmin was kind of panicking so he called Sunny online.



"Sunkyu! What dn you mean by 'see for yourself'?"


"Min, I told you Kyu's coming right?"


"Stop goofing around Sunny. He wouldn't do that."


"Tell me Min, why were you avoiding Kyu? In fact you're doing it for weeks now. He's hurt because of that."



Sungmin was fidgetting.


"I didn't mean to Sunny. I thought it's better to give him a week to think. It's not like I could face him that fast. There was no closure or anything. He just left that morning. I was planning to talk to him this week but I couldn't find time to do so. I've been busy with school works. There's a festival here in Seoul next month and we'll be participants for the show. I.. I'm scared Sunny. I don't want to lose Kyu, he's my bestfriend all my life. He's our bestfriend."


Sungmin was sobbing.


"Min, I know you didn't mean to do that. But time will come and you need to face him. Just do it okay?"


"I will Sunny. But are you serious about Kyu com..-"



*ding dong*


Sungmim was cut when he heard the doorbell rang.



"Who is it?" Sungmin shouted at the door.
Nobody answered. The doorbell rang again.

Sungmin opened the door. Next thing he knew, he was pinned on the wall near the door.


"Kyuhyun..what are yo..-"
Sungmin was cut when the younger guy crashed his lips against his. Sungmin looked at Kyuhyun's eyes, there was anger, pain, lust.
Sungmin didn't know Kyuhyun was capable of doing this.
He was pushing the younger guy but his first attempts failed. He then stopped moving, letting Kyuhyun think that he was letting him do it. When he felt Kyuhyun smirked,
he pushed the younger man strongly, he was able to free himself.
Kyuhyun in shock of what Sungmin did got angrier and yelled at his hyung.


"Hyung!!"


He was able to get up and again, pinned Sungmin against the wall.


"Why are you doing this to me?!"
Tears started flowing from his eyes.


"I love you, yet you don't even let me. Why?!" Kyuhyun punched the wall and his fist started bleeding.
The two were staring at each other's eyes, Kyuhyun glaring, faces
just inches away from the older. Sungmin was scared with the look Kyuhyun was giving him so he distracted himself by looking at Kyuhyun's hands.
He grabbed the younger man's hand before speaking.


"Kyuhyun stop this, your hands are bleedi--"
He was cut off when Kyuhyun shook his hand.
Kyuhyun took the oppurtunity and kissed the older man's neck. He licked Sungmin's earlobe when he felt that the other wasn't struggling. He planted kisses on Sungmin's neck, licking and sucking, leaving hickeys, with that, Sungmin let out a moan.
It sent shivers to Kyuhyun's spine when he heard the sound coming out from the older man, bringing them both to the edge.
Kyuhyun then grabbed Sungmin's waist and kissed him again, this time, no complains.
Sungmin was lost, he knew in his mind that what they were doing was wrong.
Kyuhyun then grabbed Sungmin's waist and carried him. Surprisingly, Sungmin became submissive, wrapping his legs on Kyuhyun's waist.
The younger smiled devilishly when he realized what the older man did. He brought Sungmin near the kitchen and made him sit on the marble top. Without thinking, Sungmin placed his arms on Kyuhyun's neck giving him better access to his lips. Sungmin let him dominate his mouth when Kyuhyun licked Sungmin's lips, asking for entrance. Kyuhyun, standing in between Sungmin's legs felt something poking his abdomen when he hugged his hyung. He stopped kissing Sungmin and stared at him smiling weirdly.


"Wha..what are you smiling at?" Sungmin was a bit irritated with the grin. He was taken aback when he felt Kyuhyun's hands creeping down his pants as the younger pressed his hands against the bulge and kissing him again at the same time.


"W..we ne..ed to stop." Sungmin said as he removed Kyuhyun's hand from his pants and he placed them on his cheeks feeling the warmth against his skin. Kyuhyun held his face as he stared at his hyung's eyes.
He kissed Sungmin's forehead for a minute and hugged him. He placed small kisses at Sungmin's neck as he uttered,


"I love you Sungmin hyung. I'm sorry."

Sungmin smiled as he broke from Kyuhyun's embrace then faced the younger guy.
He kissed Kyuhyun.


"It's alright Kyu. I love you too."


When Sungmin finished his sentence, it was as if time stopped as Kyuhyun smiled. He hugged the older man in front of him.


"Thank you hyung!"
They kept hugging each other when Kyuhyun suddenly remembered something.


"Minnie hyung?"


"Hm?"


"Since when did you start liking me hyung?"
Sungmin laughed as Kyuhyun stared at him.


"I'm not telling you! Haha! Let me clean your wound first."




Wee! Another update! Can't believe I'd be able to finish this chapter after all those news I had to write.

Sungmin looked up to Siwon when he heard what the man said. There was despair in Sungmin's eyes. Again, tears came rolling down on his face.

"Why am I in this situation? I didn't hurt anyone. Why do I have to feel like this? I even tried to forget everything for our friendship, so I won't be ruining everything. Why Wonnie? It's my fault that things turned out this way..."

"Min, it's not like you chose this to happen. Don't worry, He's just testing you Min. God will never put you in a situation or problem which you can't solve. I'm here to help you, don't forget that." Siwon hugged the man in front of him.

On the other side of the room, they barely noticed the young man standing and looking at them.

Kyuhyun's POV:

I woke up realizing that I was sleeping in the living room. I kind of freaked out when I saw where I was, I calmed down when I remembered that I was in Sungmin hyung's apartment.
He wasn't there. I gasped when the memories of what happened earlier flashed in my mind.

'Oh my God, what have I done?'

Kyuhyun held Sungmin's waist as he closed the distance between them.

I stood up when I remembered everything. I was trying to look for the bathroom when I heard someone sobbing in the dining area.
'- Sungmin hyung' I thought.
I peeked through a small space behind the wall.

Kyuhyun saw Sungmin crying in Siwon's arms.

"Min, I need to go up first. It's almost morning. I'll be back later okay? You need to rest."

"O..okay Wonnie. Thanks for coming."

When he heard them talking, Kyuhyun went back to the couch like he was sleeping. He didn't want to get caught eavesdropping.
When Siwon closed the door, Sungmin sat in front of the sleeping guy.

"Kyuhyun, I know you love her. I don't want to confuse you. I don't want to see you get hurt but you need to patch up your thoughts and feelings. Please don't make things more complicated for everyone. I love you but I can't. I'm sorry."

Sungmin was talking to the 'sleeping' guy.vKyuhyun was surprised with the sudden confession and didn't know what to do so he stayed still.
When he felt Sungmin stand up and disappeared in the living room, he sat up.

'Cho Kyuhyun! Yah! He confessed! What are you doing sitting here? Get up!' he was almost smacking himself in foolishness.vHe stood up and went in front of Sungmin's bedroom.

Kyuhyun opened the door slowly. He saw his hyung lying on the bed hugging a pillow tight. He stared at him for a moment.

"Hyung, I'm sorry if I made things difficult for you. From now on, I will take care of you. Believe me when I say I like you okay? I'll just need to patch up things like you said."

He kissed Sungmin lightly on the forehead.

"I love you hyung." he whispered.

It was 4am when he left Sungmin's apartment. He was on his way home riding the bus when suddenly, Sunny called.

"KYU! What happened?! Sorry! I left my phone at home. What's wrong? Tell me." Sunny was panicking on the other line.

"Noona. I'm fine. I.. Can I tell you something? It's a secret. But you need to promise that you won't get mad alright?"

"Hmm, it depends though Kyu. Don't tell me you got someone pregnant?!!" Sunny shouted at him.

"Ouch! Noona, that hurt. And no, I didn't get anyone pregnant. I like someone."

"Someone? Is that even a secret? Everybody knows you're in love with that Donghae-shi right?" Sunny asked, confused.

"No noona. I just figured it a couple of hours ago. It's not Donghae noona. Sunny noona, promise me you'll keep this first."

"Okay. Oh my God, this is scary."

"WHAT?! No! Tell me you're kidding Kyu!"

"Why? Is there something wrong with what I said?"

"Uhmm, Cho Kyuhyun, are you sure about this? You're not trying to goof around are you?"

"Noona, I'm serious. I'm not kidding alright? What I said was true."

"Bu..but you said you likd Donghae-shi right?"

"Yeah, I said that. But I realized something else. I thought about this and I'm still thinking about it now. Don't worry. I'll try to fix myself first. I don't want to cause any trouble to anyone anymore. Just help me with this noona. You're the only one who could help me this time."

"Kyu, you better be serious about this okay? Call me on Skype when you get home. I'll hang up now. Be safe on your way home. Bye."

"I'll be careful. Bye noona." Kyuhyun hang up the phone and it was just time for him to get off.


A week had passed since the drunk-kissing-incident happened and Kyuhyun was wondering why Sungmin wasn't contacting him.

Just when he was about to get out of the classroom, someone called him.

"Kyu, can I talk to you for a moment?" it was Donghae. Her eyes seem worried.

"Sure noona... ...Well?"

"No, not here, come with me."

"Alright." Kyuhyun smiled at her.

'He'll hate me after this. But I have to tell him.' Donghae said in her mind.

They arrived at the dance studio and when they went inside, there was Eunhyuk inside, fidgeting.

"Hyung! You're here!" Kyuhyun smiled at his brother.

"Kyu, actually, WE'RE going to tell you something." Donghae said with fear and sadness.

"Aryt then, shoot."
Eunhyuk stared at Donghae for a few seconds before speaking.

"Kyu, I know you could get mad at me after this but I want to say sorry. Hmm.." Eunhyuk took Donghae's hand before speaking.

"Donghae and I are together!" The two elder people closed their eyes in fear.

"Hyung! Noona! Chukhaeh!" Donghae brought her head up and blinked, shocked with Kyuhyun's response.

"Kyuhyun, you're not mad?" his brother Eunhyuk asked.

Kyuhyun shook his head.

"No, why should I?"

"Bu..but you said you like her. Look, Kyu, you could get mad at me. I couldn't help myself. I loved her since the day I met her and she said she does too. Please forgive us."
Eunhyuk and Donghae bowed their heads in embarassment.

"Hey, hey. I'm not mad or anything. I'm serious, it's okay. I know you're together since last week. Besides, I only had a crush on noona before."

"Kyuhyun-ah, please? Are you serious?" Donghae asked the younger guy in front of him.

"Yes noona. Uhmm, I'm sorry if I made you two worry because of me."

Kyu, we should be the one saying sorry. I thought you'd be really mad at me so I told Hae that we should keep it as a secret first. You sure you're okay?"

"Ne hyung. Noona, don't you two worry about me alright?" For the first time that day, Donghae sighed in relief and smiled.

Donghae hugged Kyuhyun, "Kyuhyun-ah, thank you."

"It's okay noona, you're welcome. Hyung! You should bring noona over the weekend!" he faced Donghae
"Come to our house noona, you should meet umma and appa."

"Uhmm, Kyu, I should be the one asking her to come right?"

"Oh, hyung I'm sorry." Kyuhyun scratched his head as he remembered something.

"Hey, I need to go first. We'll have practice for the festival next month."

"Okay Kyu, take care." Kyuhyun waved at the couple as he left the studio.

'Now I'm sure about my feelings.' Kyuhyun whispered to himself as he went on his way to the music room smiling.


Kyuhyun went inside the music room. He was stunned at what he saw.

"OH.MY.GOD!"

Ryeowook was in Yesung's arms as he kissed the taller guy. The two broke the kiss and untangled the embrace as Ryeowook spoke.

"Oh please Kyu, it's not like you don't notice."

"Hyung, but I never expected to see you like that, here inside the music room. IN SCHOOL."

"Okay okay Kyuhyun, you made your point. Now that you've seen it, next time, don't be surprised. Okay?" Yesung said while he was grabbing Ryeowook's hands.

"Ugh, Ryeowook hyung, Yesung hyung, just don't do it here in school so much."

After waiting for an hour, the practice started.
Kyuhyun was staring at Ryeowook as he played the piano and suddenly, he remembered Sungmin playing the piano.

'Hyung, are you mad at me?'
Kyuhyun told himself as he stared outside the window.

He was staring as if he wanted to eat him and in a swift move, Kyuhyun grabbed Sungmin's waist to get him closer, closing the gap as he claimed Sungmin's lips.



Sungmin was flustered with what Kyuhyun did. He was in a battle between his heart and mind.
Kyuhyun was asking for an entrance and Sungmin was about to open his lips when suddenly, he snapped.


'No, no, no. Lee Sungmin stop this. This is wrong. You're taking advantage of him.' Sungmin shouted in his mind.

He pushed the younger man away, letting him know that what he did was wrong.
He stumbled on the floor surprised. He shook his head in disbelief before looking back at his hyung.


"Am I that hateful? Geez even you are disgusted with me."


"Kyuhyun-ah.." Sungmin tried to help Kyuhyun up but he shook his hands off of him.


"Look, I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to do that." Sungmin was fighting back his tears.

"This is wrong Kyu. You're just confused. You're drunk. Come on, I'll get you up."


"No hyung!! Don't touch me." Kyuhyun glared at him.

"People like you...!"
He fought himself, trying to avoid words that might hurt his hyung. He was confused.

"Am I not enough? What's wrong with me? I'm not ugly. I have a lot of admirers at school. But all of the people I choose never loved me back." Kyuhyun was sobbing as he sat on the couch.
Sungmin didn't know what to tell Kyuhyun at the moment. He wanted to pat the other guy's head as he spoke.


"I... I, Kyuhyun-ah, it's not like that. I'm sure you'll find someone.. el-.."

He wasn't able to finish his sentence when suddenly, Kyuhyun looked up at him, capturing his lips again as he was leaning to the younger man sitting on the couch.
Slowly, Kyuhyun was standing up. As he stood, Kyuhyun let out a grin realizing that the older man wasn't fighting back.
When Sungmin snapped again, Kyuhyun made sure his hands were on his hyung's waist making it impossible for him to let go.
They parted their lips for air. Sungmin was still in shock, trying to analyze the situation.
On the other hand, Kyuhyun was staring at Sungmin's face thinking about how stupid he was for not noticing his hyung.


'Why just now? If only I realized how beautiful hyung is, I could've been more happy.' there were a bit of tears in Kyuhyun's eyes as he was lifting his right hand up to his hyung's face, caressing his cheeks.

Sungmin looked at him when he felt Kyuhyun's hands on his cheeks. He blinked his eyes three times and when Kyuhyun saw it, he smiled. When Sungmin saw him smile, he fought the urge to kiss the younger but he lost. Kyuhyun's lips was on his and he was responding to it.


Suddenly, he felt something vibrating from his pocket.
He stopped when he realized what he was doing. He pushed Kyuhyun for a bit and the young man let go of him. Sungmin was still dazed, his mind blank as he walked away from the living room to his bathroom.
He felt his phone vibrate again so he opened it and saw who it was, -Siwon.


"Yoboseyo?" Sungmin answered the call.


"Min-ah, I'm bored. Can I join you two there? Well, only if you're not busy. You know..--" Siwon was cut.


"Siwon-ah! Thank God you called."


"Why? What happened? Anything wrong down there?" Siwon asked worried.


"Well, not really. You see, I think Kyuhyun has some problem with with Donghae and..--" Sungmin was panicking.


"Okay, calm down Min. I'll just go there okay?" Siwon said trying to make the other calm down.


"Alright."


"I'm on my way."
Siwon hung up while the elevator went two floors down.


*ding dong*


Siwon pressed the doorbell.
Sungmin went out of the bathroom and saw Kyuhyun lying on the couch sleeping.
He sneeked out of the living room to open the door when he heard the doorbell.
Sungmin opened the door and saw Siwon standing.


"Min, what happened?"


"I'll tell you, come in first. Good thing he fell asleep."


Siwon stepped inside Sungmin's apartment and sat on a chair in the dining room.
Sungmin sat across beside him after closing the door.


"Okay, tell me what happened and why is Kyuhyun sleeping?"


"Uhmm, he's drunk I think. He told me Donghae and Hyukkie are together and it made him upset I think. Next thing I knew he was crying and self pitying and drunk. He kissed me, I flinched and pushed him then he cried saying nobody loved him and he kissed me again and you called, I snapped, I left him there and went to the bathroom in shock and when I went out to open the door, he was sleeping." Sungmin couldn't stop babbling the words in confusion.

Siwon stared at him surprised with everything that Sungmin said.


"He did what?"


"H.. He.. ki..kissed..me."


"And you let him?"


"No!! Ye..!No!" Sungmin started crying. "I don't know."
He was sobbing.


Siwon let him cry for almost an hour, telling him that everything will be fine.
Siwon was hugging him until Sungmin stopped sobbing.


"You okay now?"


"A bit, yes."


"It's okay to talk about it right now?"


"It hurts Wonnie, he still has feelings for her and I lost control of myself."


"Sshh.. It's okay Min. Just don't let this happen again okay? You should be looking after him, you're his hyung after all."


"I know. I think he's really in deep pain right now."


"Okay, tell me the story about Donghae."


"Kyu said Donghae's with Eunhyukkie. It probably hurt him more."


"So who's Eunhyuk?" Siwon asked.


"He's Kyuhyun's older brother."
Sungmin heard Siwon gasp a bit for what he realized.


"So you mean Donghae's dating his brother?" Siwon was flustered.


"Yes, I think that's the reason he came here. He's hurt, he got himself drunk to let everything out. Bu..but, you see.." there was a bit of doubt in Sungmin's words.
"Kyuhyun doesn't easily get drunk. Even if you make him drink eight bottles of soju and three pitchers of beer."


Sungmin was losing it. He didn't know what to think anymore.

Siwon, on the other hand was trying to analyze Sungmin's words.


"So you mean, he's aware that he kissed you?"

~ Sungmin's POV: ~

Siwon left and after a couple of minutes my door bell rang again. I opened the door.

"Did you forget some-... Kyuhyun?" I thought it was Siwon. He smiled at me but not the smile he used to give people. It was a forced one. He brought two black bags up showing that he brought stuff. I smiled at him.

"You shouldn't have. Come in." I gestured my hands and pointed the sofa so he could sit down.

'I wonder why he's here.' I thought to myself while closing the door.
I sat across him and asked.

"So.. What brings you here?" I saw desperation in his eyes when he looked at me. He forced another smile.

"Nothing hyung. I just wanted to see you. I was calling Sunny noona, she can't pick up her phone. I was calling you but you weren't picking up as well." Kyuhyun told me. It was as if he was trying to hold back his tears.

"Kyu-ah, are you okay? What's wrong?" I walked near Kyuhyun when I noticed that something wasn't right about him. I was patting Kyuhyun's head when suddenly, I felt his arms around my waist. His face was buried on my tummy and my shirt was wet. He was crying.

"Sshhh..It's okay. You can cry as long as you like." I told him. I know it's wrong to feel happy in this kind of situation but just the thought of Kyuhyun hugging me tightly made me shiver a bit.

On the other side of himself, he felt his heart throb. It brought him pain seeing Kyuhyun like this. He looked down at the boy, held his cheeks and pulled his face away from his stomach so he could see Kyuhyun's face.

"Kyuhyun-ah, what happened?" Sungmin was trying hard not to hurt the younger man in front of him but he needed to ask him. When Kyuhyun looked at his hyung's worried eyes, he kind of snapped and wiped his tears off his face. He stood up and it surprised Sungmin.

"Geez! What am I doing? I should be happy right? Come on! I brought some beer and soju. Do you have extras? It's better to have a lot of soju since I'm not drinking alone. You can drink tonight hyung, drink with me!" Sungmin was a bit confused,

"Uhmm.. I.. I have three bottles here. And five cans of beer I think. I.. Is that enough Kyu?" Sungmin stuttered a bit, scared of Kyuhyun was doing. The last time Kyuhyun was like this when he was dumped by his girlfriend in his first year.
He drank alcohol until he passed out. The aftermath was worse. Kyuhyun had fever for almost a week. He was worried for him.

"Yeah! Good thing you have some hyung. Come on lets drink!" Sungmin nodded and took out the beer cans and soju bottles from the fridge and brought some cured meat to the table. After an hour, Kyuhyun was laughing but still had a straight thought.

He drank four beer cans and two bottles of soju. Sungmin had a bottle of Soju. He didn't want to get drunk in the first place. Kyuhyun was starting spill things from his mouth.

"Hyung, how would you feel if someone you like went out with someone you love? I mean, someone dear to your heart, like a brother." Sungmin was in a bit of shock from what he heard.

'What is he talking about? Does he mean, Hyukjae and Donghae? But, I know Hyukkie would never do such a thing.' these phrases was starting to drown Sungmin's thoughts.

"Uhmm, Kyu, are you alright?"

"You didn't answer my question.."

"Okay, okay. Uhm, I think it depends on the situation. I'd be hurt, definitely, but I can't control things. If the one I like loves someone else, I'd let them be."

"Whoa, you really are kind hyung. It's a pity Hyukkie hyung likes her. She seems to like him too."

There. He said it.

"Kyu-ah, what do you mean Hyukkie likes her? You're not talking about Donghae-shi are you?"

"I am. I mean, Hyukkie hyung likes Donghae noona. End of story." Kyuhyun was staring at the floor nodding at himself. He was in the brink of tears. Sungmin held Kyuhyun's chin to look closer.

"Kyuhyun-ah, it's alright, there are still a lot of girls out there." Sungmin was trying to comfort him.

"I know hyung, I just.. just didn't expect it to happen so suddenly. And for the record, I lost her with Hyukkie hyung."

"Kyu, don't get mad at Hyukjae. I don't think he wanted this to happen. He loves you so much. You know that."

"I know hyung. That makes it more difficult for me." he was crying now.
"I can't bring myself to get mad at them. I love hyung, I like noona. They like each other. I mean, who am I to stop their feelings."

Sungmin was having a hard time controlling himself not to hug the younger man in front of him.

"I guess I'd just have to accept defeat. Aish!" Kyuhyun said, almost shouting. He took a bottle of Soju and finished it in three gulps. He squeeked because of the feel of alcohol then suddenly he glared at Sungmin and laughed.

"Hyung. You're so cute when you're surprised." Kyuhyun stood up and grabbed Sungmin, bringing their faces just inches apart. Sungmin was in shock while Kyuhyun stared at his hyung's eyes.

He was staring as if he wanted to eat him and in a swift move, Kyuhyun grabbed Sungmin's waist to get him closer, closing the gap as he claimed Sungmin's lips.

It has been three days since he last saw his hyung.

'I never knew school could be this boring.' Kyuhyun thought as his class in Algebra was on going. He was staring at the window when the teacher called his attention.

"I believe Mr. Cho knows the answer to the question." His teacher, Lee Soo Man asked while raising an eyebrow as a sign of annoyance.

"973 sir." Kyuhyun answered irritated.

"Tha..that's corr..rect Mr. Cho. Now if you could please pay attention to the lesson." the teacher in front almost felt his mouth hung open in embarassment.
Kyuhyun rolled his eyes and brought his attention to the girl beside him. The only thing that amuses him and making him come to school, - Donghae.
When classes were over, he talked to her while fixing her things.

"Noona! School's boring."

"Kyuhyun-ah, you can find things that can make you entertained, like hobbies and stuff. Don't you sing? Your brother told me you do." said Donghae with a smile on her face.

"Oh my God!" Kyuhyun almost shouted in embarassment. "I can't believe hyung told you that."

"It's alright. It's a talent, something you should be proud of right?" Donghae told him.

"Well, yeah. It's not that I'm not proud of it. I'm the vice president of the glee club together with Yesung hyung and Ryeowook hyung."

"You see? You could make that one of the reasons you come to school. Speaking of which, sorry but I'll have to head first. I've got dance practice 'til 8pm tonight."

"It's okay. You take care." Kyuhyun told her.

"I will, thank you. You take care too. Bye!" she said while making her way out of the classroom. Suddenly, someone patted his back.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You like her don't you?" Yesung told him.

"Yah! Hyung! You were eavesdropping?"

"Not really. Wookie and I were heading out when I heard you two, you even mentioned our names."

"Am I that obvious?"

"Not really, but you do stare at her when she's listening to the teacher." Kyuhyun's eyes widened, "Aha! See! You're caught. I was just bluffing! Haha!" Yesung was laughing.

"Tsk tsk, hyung, so mean." said Ryeowook who was standing beside the older guy while shaking his head in disbelief. Yesung was still laughing so Ryeowook then asked Kyuhyun,

"Kyu, are you coming later?"

"Why? What's with later?" Kyuhyun asked in confusion.

"It's the general meeting for the glee club. You don't remember?"

"Kyuhyun-ah, you should come. The members barely see you there." Yesung said when he was done laughing.

"Hmm. Alright then. We're going to have the meeting until what time? I'll tell umma I'll be home a bit late so?" Kyuhyun was waiting for an answer. Ryeowook took his organizer out and checked.

"Hmm, I think we'll be done before seven."

"Alright. You can go there first. I'll catch you guys up later." Kyuhyun told his hyungs before heading out of the classroom. He went to the huge tree near the primary school building to rest for a while. He took out his game console and played for a bit. When he got tired playing, he laid his head on the tree and stared at the sky.

He closed his eyes for a while then suddenly, a face appeared in his mind.. - Sungmin. He was a bit startled when he opened his eyes.

"I guess I miss them both." Kyuhyun whispered to himself. He took out his phone and opened the camera. He took a picture of himself pointing at the tree while sitting down. He uploaded it on his cyworld using his phone and tagged his two bestfriends.
He placed 'Don't you two miss me? I do. Even this tree does.' as the caption. He stood up and decided to proceed to the music room for the meeting.


Few days passed and he still find school boring. Just the absence of two of the most important people in his life didn't help. Even the presence of Donghae sometimes was tiring him.
He was showing his interest in her for a week now and still, he didn't get any response. 'She's always busy with dancing to even notice my presence.' Kyuhyun thought. He shook his head while showering after his PE class. 'Just a bit more.' he convinced himself.

That afternoon, he decided to pay a visit at the dance studio to see Donghae.
Before going in, he peeked at the door and saw Donghae dance through the huge mirror on the wall. He was about to go in when he noticed that she stopped. He heard Shindong clap and cheered her name. Suddenly, Shindong was whining.

"Yah, stop that! You're giving me creeps."

Kyuhyun was wondering if who was Shindong referring to so he opened the door a little bit more to take a look. He was shocked at what he saw. He felt like someone punched him hard. He stood there, motionless.
He ran away to prevent himself from being discovered. He didn't want them to know his presence.
What he saw was his brother, arms on Donghae's waist while she was facing Shindong. Eunhyuk's back was leaning at the mirror and she was in front of him, leaning her back against his brother while his hands were on her waist.

'Hyung... Noona.. No,.. when??..' he was stuttering. He didn't know what to tell himself. He ran away like he was trying to escape from someone.

When he reached home, he locked himself in his room. He stumbled on the floor, leaning against the door. He placed his hands on his mouth while tears started to brush his cheeks. He was trying to muffle the sounds coming out of his mouth from crying. He stood up and went to his bed, burrying his face in the pillow. He was in pain, emotional pain. He didn't notice it and slowly, he fell asleep crying.

That night, he didn't know how he would face his brother so he decided to call Sunny to gather strength.

"Sorry, this is Sunny. I won't be able to pick up the phone right now. You can leave a message after the beep."

"Noona, I have a problem, call me when you're free. I miss you." Kyuhyun left a message.
He decided to dial Sungmin's number but there was no answer. He was a bit desperate to talk to someone so he called Sungmin over and over again, still there was no answer.He wiped his tears and decided to get up.He went out and bought two sets of beer cans and five bottles of soju.

He left a note in the kitchen telling his umma that he went to Sungmin's apartment since it was a friday and will spend a night there. He took the bus and was still drowned in sadness while he was on his way to Sungmin. When he reached the building, he went to the front desk and registered his name before heading to the seventh floor.

While walking at the corridor, he heard someone closing a door. When he got nearer the area where he heard the sound of the door, he saw a familiar figure. It was Siwon. Kyuhyun felt his heart twitch when he saw the guy. Siwon saw the younger guy walking near him and he greeted him.

"Kyuhyun! Long time no see!" Siwon was smiling at Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun forced a smile and greeted the taller man.

"Siwon hyung. I'm okay. You came out from Hyung's unit?"

"Well, yeah, I borrowed these books so I can read it on the weekends. I see you're headed there."

"Yeah, just visiting."

"Alright. You should get inside now. I'm going up okay?"

"Okay hyung. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." And then he disappeared in the elevator. He pressed the door bell of Sungmin's unit.

The next day,..
Kyuhyun got up early and called Sungmin.

"Hyung! Good morning! I'm coming over alright?"

"Oh, good morning Kyu." his voice was empty
"Uhmm, mom and dad will bring me downtown to buy things so I'm not sure if you can come."

Just like that, Sungmin dropped the phone and covered his face with his blanket. Suddenly, he remembered that day on the beach.
It was summer and the three bestfriends decided to go for a swim. Sungmin brought his SLR and a tripod so they could take pictures of themselves.

"Min, Kyu-ah, cmon! Let's take pictures!" Sungmin installed the tripod in place and set the timer for ten seconds and ran in the middle of the two.

"Smile!"
The photo was captured. That was the day when they all took the picture. Their favorite photo. Sunny had them recopied and gave the two men each with a frame where their names were written. It was a gift for Christmas that year.

Sungmin sat up from his bed.

"Aish! What am I doing? This is stupid. I should be more mature. Right? C'mon Lee Sungmin! Get a grip! It's impossible. Don't ruin your friendship. Alright?" Sungmin was talking to himself, trying to convince himself that what he had said are true was.

He stood up from his bed and decided to send Kyuhyun a message telling him the schedule with his parents were cancelled.
Instead, he asked him to come and accompany him instead in buying stuff. Siwon left early that day because it was Sunday -church.
After showering, he called Kyuhyun.

"Kyu, I'll pick you up alright?"

"Okay hyung. I'll be ready in ten minutes."

"Okay then see you."

On the other line, Kyuhyun was thinking.
'What's wrong with hyung? I wonder.'

Sungmin parked his car in the Cho's garage. He went inside and greeted Kyuhyun's parents. Mrs. Cho hugged Sungmin when he saw the boy.

"Sungmin! I missed you! How's school? I bet you're busy nowadays? Have you been eating well?"

"Goodmorning Auntie! I'm still not that busy since school just started. Of course I've been eating well. I'm still cute, right auntie?"
Suddenly, someone patted Sungmin's head.

"Yah! Cute my ass! It's been a long time."

"Ahra! Haha! Why hit me? You didn't miss me?"

"Why would I? I always see you and Sunny around before. I didn't even have enough time to miss you."

"Tsk, noona, so harsh." Eunhyuk said as he was walking downstairs.

"Kyu's almost ready."

"Eunhyuk-ah! How are you!"

"I'm good."

"Hyung! Let's go." Kyuhyun popped out from the kitchen.

"All set? C'mon!"

"You guys take care alright?" Mrs. Cho reminded the two.

"Don't worry Auntie, we will." Right then, the two men drove to Myeongdong.


"Hyung, I don't see Siwon hyung, where is he?" Kyuhyun asked when he noticed the absence of the tall man.

"He left early, it's church day. He said he'll go back to his unit after church. I can say he went home already."

"Oh, I see. Anyway, what are you going to buy in Myeongdong?"

"Hmm, just some stuff I need for my unit. A couple of shirts, housewares if I see some, stuff like that."

"But I thought you're done buying stuff for your condo?"

"I need more stuff. In case I have visitors. I'll be living in that unit for years anyway."

"Oh, good thing it's not that far from here."

"Yeah, I can even ride the bus if I don't feel like bringing my car."

They were done buying stuff around lunchtime. They were looking for a place to eat.

"Hyung, you'll be here until tomorrow right?"

"Yep. Why?"

"Nothing. I just miss you two in school."

"Don't worry, do you want to talk to Sunny when we get home?"

"Sounds great!"


After having lunch, the two headed to Sungmin's house to talk to Sunny online. Lucky enough, Sunny didn't have class for it was Sunday.
Kyuhyun turned on his webcam. He yelped when he viewed Sunny's cam.

"Noona! I haven't seen your face in a while! You curled your hair?"

"Kyu-ah! Yes I did. Does it look good?"

"Yah! I'm here you know." Sungmin pouted in front of the camera.

"Min-ah! I know you're there."

"How are you?" the younger asked.

"I'm alright Kyu. I heard you have a crush now?" all of a sudden, Sungmin panicked.

"Hey, you two talk, I'm going to the bathroom for a while."

"Alright. Get back there when you're done." there was a bit of worry in Sunny's eyes.
Sungmin went to the bathroom and stared at himself in the mirror.

"What's wrong with you?" he started talking to himself
"I thought you understood things? Cut this crap and fix yourself." He splashed his face with water and stared at the mirror for a minute.
He wiped his wet face and fixed his shirt before heading out.

"Hyung! I just showed Donghae's photo to noona. She said she's pretty." Kyuhyun told his hyung.

"Isn't she pretty Sunny?" there was a hidden meaning in Sungmin's words to Sunny.

"Uhm, yeah she is." Sunny answered. The three of them continued talking until Kyuhyun noticed that it was already dark outside.

"Hyung, can I sleep here tonight? You're leaving tomorrow anyway."

"Uhm, alright. Just tell your parents first."

"Okay! I'm calling umma now."
Kyuhyun dialled his umma's number.

"Umma, can I sleep here at Minnie hyung's house? .... Okay. I'll go home tomorrow at around nine in the morning. Thanks umma!"
"She said it's alright."

"Okay. You can use some of my shirts there. I left the bigger ones. You know where to get it right?"

"Ne hyung. I'll take a shower first."

"Umma said dinner's almost ready. I'll tell her you'll sleep here. Just go downstairs when you're done alright?"

"Okay, thanks hyung." Sungmin went downstairs and talked to her mom.
Dinner was over and Sungmin decided to take a shower since he was a bit exhausted with the shopping. Kyuhyun then sat in front of the laptop to play Starcraft. When Sungmin was done showering, he stepped out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped to his waist. He forgot his clothes on top of the bed.
On the other side of the room, Kyuhyun was still playing when he noticed the bathroom door opened.

"Hyung! You're done--?" Kyuhyun was a bit surprised when he saw his hyung with only towel wrapped around Sungmin's waist.

"Yep, I forgot my clothes here. I'll go get changed. I'll play with you when I'm done alright?"

Kyuhyun gulped because of what he was seeing.
'I never thought hyung has those abs.' Kyuhyun thought to himself.

"A..al..right hyung." Kyuhyun stuttered a bit. When he saw Sungmin disappear from the room, he smacked his head.

"Cho Kyuhyun! What's wrong with you? Are you crazy?" he placed his hand on his chest and felt his heart thumping.

"Sshhh. Stop! Stop! Calm down." he was practically talking to himself. He shook his head and focused his attention to the game he was playing.
Sungmin went out the bathroom dressed with the pink pajamas he bought at Myeongdong earlier.

"Kyu! It's cute right?" Kyuhyun smiled at him.

"It's cute hyung. Pink suits you best." Sungmin felt his cheeks blush but shook his head in realization.

"You alright hyung?"

"Yeah. C'mon let's play." They played Starcraft until it was almost midnight. Sungmin yawned and Kyuhyun saw him.

'So cute' Kyuhyun thought to himself. Again, he felt his heart thump.
'Kyu, no. Stop this.' he told himself.

"Kyu-ah, I'm sleepy. I'm going to bed first okay?" Sungmin told him.

"Alright hyung. I'll just finish this level and I'll go to sleep as well." Sungmin walked and stumbled himself on his bed. After a few minutes, he fell asleep. Kyuhyun finished his game and went beside Sungmin. While he was trying to sleep, he felt like opening his eyes and then he was facing Sungmin.
He couldn't think straight. He never knew when he had the courage and placed his hands on his hyungs cheeks. He was caressing Sungmin's cheeks. He blinked and removed his hands when he saw Sungmin move and smiled. His heart was beating like crazy causing him to stand up. He went to the bathroom and started thinking.

'Kyuhyun, this isn't the first time you slept here. What the hell was that touching-Sungmin's-cheek action. Stop it!' he was shouting at himself in his mind.
He shook his head again for five times and headed to the bed.

"Hyung, what's happening to me?" he whispered before facing the other side of the bed.


Sungmin got up early and smiled when he saw the younger man sleeping peacefully next to him.

"Goodmorning!" he whispered.

He stood up from the bed and washed his face before brushing his teeth. While having his teeth brushed, he went to his bathroom door and stared at Kyuhyun still sleeping.

'It's a good thing I kept this secret. If I did not, It'd be impossible for me to deal with you like this. I'd stop this once and for all.' Sungmin thought.

He went downstairs and helped his umma to make breakfast while the twins were getting ready for school. He went back to his room to wake up Kyuhyun.

"Kyu-ah, wake up. It's almost seven. You told your mom you'll be home by nine." Kyuhyun blinked his eyes, still a bit sleepy. He stood up and went to the bathroom.

"Kyuhyun-ah, I just remembered, it's monday today, don't you have class today?"

"I have, but uhmm, not the first three periods. The teachers had a seminar in China so I'll go to school at around ten."

"I see, c'mon hurry up. Let's have breakfast first then I'll take you home."

"Okay hyung. I'll be there in a minute."


Kyuhyun and Sungmin had breakfast before leaving the Lee's house.

"I'll visit you Auntie when I have free time."

"Thanks Kyuhyun. Say 'Hi' to your parents for me. Tell your Ahra and Hyuk I said 'hi' too."

"Okay Auntie. Thanks for letting me stay."

"It's alright, this is your second home remember?"

"Thanks Auntie. I'm off now. Bye."

"I'll bring him home umma, I'll drive safely."

The two left and Sungmin stopped his car when they reached Kyuhyun's house.

"Hyung, be safe on going back okay? Text me when you get there safely."

"Alright MOM." Sungmin laughed at him.

"I'm off now. Take care hyung." Sungmin waved goodbye and left.

'Thanks Kyuhyun.' Sungmin whispered to himself.

'It was him. It was the guy from my dream. What the h*ll's happening here? Is this another dream. Geez, am I crazy?' I kept on murmuring inside my head.

"Kyuhyun-ah.. Hey! Yuhoo! You alright?" Sungmin hyung was trying to get my attention as my eyes were fixed at the tall man named Siwon's face.
"Kyu-ah, what's wrong? Siwon said Hi."

"Oh, hyung. I'm okay. Still a bit sleepy I guess." I turned again to face the tall man.

"Hello! I'm Kyuhyun! Nice to meet you Siwon-shi. Uhm, can I call you 'hyung'?" I asked him.

"Oh! Haha! Of course! Hello again! I'm Choi Siwon. I'm Sungmin's classmate in Kyunghee. Nice to finally meet you Kyuhyun-shi." He smiled at me.
He had this funny gesture towards me.
'He's a pretty guy. I think he's a good guy.' I thought to myself.

"Now that you two met, let's have breakfast. I'm starving." Sungmin hyung told us with a smile on his face.
Auntie was assisting Siwon to his seat. The twins staring at him.
'I never got that kind of treatment here before.' I told myself. I was a bit jealous. It felt like my house was being invaded by strangers.

After eating breakfast, the three men went to Sungmin's room upstairs. Kyuhyun asked Sungmin anything that was good to do for the day.

"Hyung, I'm bored. What should we do today?"

"Hmm, you want to play games? I think I left two controllers here in my room. I can borrow Sungson's. Let's play!"

"I don't know how to play these kinds of games." Siwon told Sungmin with worried eyes.
A smirk drew on Kyuhyun's face.

"I'll help you then. Kyu-ah, don't be so harsh on him alright?" Sungmin told Kyuhyun.

"Let's see hyung. You know me." Kyuhyum answered his hyung with a rotten smile.

"Wait here, I'll go get one more controller." Sungmin left the two guys inside the room.

"Hyung, how did you two meet?" Kyuhyun asked Siwon who was sitting on Sungmin's bed.

"Uhmm, actually, we're classmates but I met him two days before class started." Siwon answered.

"Oh, where?"

"Inside the cafe of our condominium. He lives at the 7th floor and I on the 9th." Sungmin then entered the room.

"Hey you two! What are you two talking about?"

"Nothing much. I told him how I met you." Siwon told Sungmin.

"Oh, you told him everything then?"

"Nope, not yet. Just the part when I bumped into you at the cafe."

"Well you sed he kept on saying sorry and like that we talked and became friends. Then, I discovered that he was an incoming freshman from my university and was in my class."
Kyuhyun was wondering why Siwon was in his hyung's house for the long week off. The three played for hours and as expected, Kyuhyun was the lead. The thing that bugs him was the two older man sitting side to side on the couch while he was on the floor. Sungmin was also assisting Siwon all throughout the game which kind of pissed Kyuhyun off.
Just then, Kyuhyun remembered his new friend in school as well -Donghae.

"Minnie hyung! Hey, I almost forgot to tell you. There's a new student in my class.She's from Mokpo. Her name is Donghae. Want to see what she looks like?" Kyuhyun then rushed to Sungmin's laptop to log-in to cyworld.
When he opened the screen, the same photo from his desk was the wallpaper of his hyung's laptop.
'I guess we love that picture so much.' Kyuhyun thought to himself before logging in.Kyuhyun then opened Donghae's profile and called the two older men's attention.Siwon and Sungmin looked at the picture.

"Isn't she pretty? Look! She's perfect! She's sexy too." Sungmin felt his heart twitch the moment Kyuhyun ended words looking at the girl's profile. He wasn't sure if what he felt was right but he forced a smile to Kyuhyun and Siwon agreeing to what the younger man said. 'Yeah, she's beautiful. Very pretty.' Sungmin thought to himself.

"Kyu-ah! Oh my God! You're a grown up! You like girls now!" Sungmin patted Kyuhyun's head.
"Hyung, you see, I like her. She seems like a pretty good girl I think. Hyukkie hyung knows her. He said he met her from last year's dance competition. She got in third, hyung got the first place remember? Awesome right?"
"Oh, she seems like a pretty good dancer then." Sungmin answered Kyuhyun feeling as if he was being stabbed, only now, it hurt more. It was beyond physical pain.
'Sunny-ah, this what I was scared of. It's coming.' Sungmin was thinking.

Right then, Siwon told Kyuhyun that the girl was pretty. Suddenly Kyuhyun's cellphone rang. It was Eunhyuk.

"Yoboseyo? Hyung!"

"Kyu-ah, mom asked if you could hurry back home. Noona needs your help in her room."

"Oh, alright then, I'll tell Sungmin hyung then I'll head home."

"Alright then. Take care." Eunhyuk hung up.

"Minnie hyung, Siwon hyung, I need to go home. Ahra noona's fixing her room and she asked for my help. I'll come back tomorrow, is that okay?"

"Okay then. You take care. Please greet Ahra and Hyukkie for me. Tell Uncle and Auntie I said 'Hi'." Sungmin accompanied Kyuhyun to the main door.
When he saw Kyuhyun left, he hurried to his room and found Siwon. When he saw the taller man, tears started flowing from his eyes. He hugged and cried on Siwon's arms.

"I know, I know. Just cry for now." He was comforting Sungmin,
knowing that the boy was hurt.Right then, Sungmin felt his phone vibrating. It was Sunny.

"Min! Kyu's there right? I knew it."

"Sunny-ah.." Sungmin was sobbing.

"Min, what's wrong? Hey! Why are you crying? Hey, calm down." Sunny was surprised and didn't know what to do.

"It's over. I told you this won't work. I won't tell him anything. I'm done with this."

"Ssh, Min tell me what happened."

"He likes someone else. A girl. She's very pretty. You should see her.I know this would happen. Geez! I'm such an idiot."

"You calm down alright? I'll call you back as soon as possible." Sungmin kept on weeping after his conversation with Sunny.

"Sungmin-ah, don't worry. Everything will work out fine. Trust me okay?"

Sungmin stared at Siwon for a minute before crying again.Siwon was in pain seeing Sungmin cry.

'If only I could ease the pain.' Siwon told himself.
